Art Club spots filled up in under 30 minutes this time! The first session of Art Club for the school year kicks off next Tuesday September 19th for students in grades K-2 and Wednesday September 20th for students in grades 3-5. Parents with students signed up for Art Club should receive a reminder email this week with additional details. 

Please make sure you update your students dismissal instructions in Student Dismissal Manager (SDM) app for all 4 weeks of Art Club.

We are hoping to offer 3 additional sessions this year so if you missed this time be on the lookout later this fall for Session 2!

We are nearing the kick off for this fall's fundraiser "Good Eats, Local Treats". More information will be coming home with students in early October. 

We are still soliciting for donations of gift cards to local eateries or specialty shops. If you are interested in helping, or you own a local business or know of one that might like to participate by donating a gift card, please reach out to Angela Ferris at anferris0210@gmail.com.

Our fall fundraiser is key to raising funds needed to support our planned programs throughout the school year. These funds help to bring assemblies to our school, send students on field trips, supplement classroom activities, and so much more! Please help to make it a success!

Sign-ups for party parents for both the Halloween (10/31) and Winter (12/22) parties are active on our website through this Saturday September 16. After sign ups close we will draw names to fill 3 spots per class for each party. Preference will be given to parents who volunteer to be the lead parent- responsible for coordinating the activities, crafts, and games with the other parents signed up. Selected volunteers will be notified the week of September 18th. You must have clearances submitted to Mrs. Nolan by September 25th in order to volunteer for the Halloween party. 

Be on the lookout for sign-ups for the Book Vending Machine. Parent helpers are needed to escort students to the book vending machine monthly. Students are invited to pick a book from the machine each year during the month of their birthday. Summer birthdays get to pick in May. 

All clearances must be submitted and approved by the district before you can volunteer at West View! This can take up to 30 days from the time of submission.
